The Japan Automobile Research Institute and the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc., have been developing a biofidelic flexible pedestrian legform impactor (Flex-PLI) since 2002. A prototype (Flex-GT-prototype) was developed in 2006, and the latest version is called Flex-GT. However, the Flex-GT-prototype biofidelity requires further evaluation. This study evaluated the biofidelity of Flex-GT-prototype, the relationship to the human leg, using an FE Flex-GT-prototype model and an FE human model. This study revealed a good relationship between the Flex-GT-prototype model and the FE human model, especially under the 50mm and 75mm lift impact conditions.%自動車と歩行者の衝突時に,歩行者が自動車か ら被る傷害のレベルを低減させることを目的とし た研究は1960年代に始まり,その後,1970年代に は,自動車の歩行者保護性能を検定するための試 験法(以下,「歩行者保護試験法」という)の検 討が始まった.
