空気中に含まれる硫黄化合物のPEFC性能に及ぼ す影響を評価した.硫黄化合物による性能低下は, 純空気の供給や,OCV保持,電位サイクルでは完 全には回復しない不可逆的なものであった.電圧 低下量は硫黄化合物の濃度によらず供給量でほぼ 一定となつた.%The impact of sulfur-containing atmospheric trace species (hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide) on PEFC performance was evaluated in the constant current mode using JARI single cells. Degradation of PEFC performance caused by sulfur-containing compounds was serious, and only partial recovery was observed after applying neat air, open-circuit potential, and potential cycles. The amount of cell voltage decline depended on the dosage. The concentration of fluoride ions in exhaust water increased after poisoning by sulfur-containing compounds. This suggests the decomposition of the electrolyte membrane.
