Simpson Strong-Tie Unveils World's Largest Joist Hanger at BCMC in Houston, TX

Simpson Strong-Tie~®, the leader in structural product solutions, has taken its joist hanger business to record-breaking heights. On September 19, Simpson was awarded the Guinness World Record for creating the largest joist hanger. The sizeable hanger stands more than seven feet tall, is eight and a half feet wide, and weighs approximately 1,370 pounds. Simpson unveiled the large hanger at the Building Component Manufacturers Conference (BCMC) in Houston. The hanger was on display at the Simpson Strong-Tie booth #483 throughout the three-day show, October 4-6.
