U.S. Company Named Advanced Building Systems and Italian Firm to help Rebuild Lousiana: M2 Panel Technology Imported to Meet Housing Crisis

Kenner, La— While the factory-built housing industry was busy elsewhere, an enterprising new company has imported a versatile building technology to meet the ongoing Gulf housing crisis. On June 12 and 13, 2006 the Louisiana Economic Development (LED) agency and the Louisiana Recovery Authority hosted a conference in Baton Rouge called The Louisiana Factory-Built Housing Symposium. The goal, clearly, was to invite U.S. factory-built housing producers to bring their technologies and expertise into the region to meet its pressing housing needs.
