Will Bernanke Continue on Greenspan's Stumbling Path? And, Time for HUD to Modernize

As it had been apparently set in concrete, Princeton University Professor and former Federal Reserve Board Governor Ben Bernanke became chairman of the Federal Reserve Board replacing Alan Greenspan last month. Naturally we, and the entire housing industry for that matter, hope fervently that Bernanke will not follow in Greenspan's stumbling footsteps. Over the years it seems that Greenspan's 'strategy' was simply to continually raise interest rates until he drove the housing industry into the ditch and the American economy along with it.
