Goss in the black around the world

Web press manufacturer, Goss International achieved positive results across all its worldwide regions in the last year, with the Asia Pacific its most profitable area on a per capita basis. The company recorded an eight per cent profit of US$13m in the Asia Pacific, on sales of US$175m. Its biggest profit figure came from Europe, with a $32m profit, which on sales of US$675m represented a five per cent margin. Its Amercias business saw a margin of four per cent, US$2 lm on sales of $466m. Orders in 2007 came in at just over a billion dollars, at US$1.065bn, which was in line with the previous year's results, although sales were just off by US$46m at US$1.102bn. However the 2008 backlog of US$665m is stronger than that of 2007. Speaking to the world's trade press media a bullish CEO Bob Brown said the company had strong market positions, and an improved financial position.
