PIAA to run first aid course for printers

A nationally accredited one-day first aid course for the printing industry will be staged in Sydney on October 26. Ian Walz, national manager, learning and development at Printing Industries said the course was in response to requests from members for nationally accredited and certified training.Walz says, "We are now offering the Apply First Aid Course which is a tailored programme that highlights the common hazards people can encounter in the printing industry. The one-day practical and assessment program is designed to best use time away from the workplace.
