The 2019 edition of the Fespa Global Print Expo 2019 welcomed 20,780 individual visitors from 137 countries over the course of four days. Walking around the six exhibition halls of Messe Munich, industry trends were clear to see: fabric and textile printing are increasingly replacing traditional materials in the sign and display sector, while on the machinery side, quality and speed are becoming less mutually exclusive across all vendors. Consistent with previous events, the host country delivered the largest national delegation of visitors at 25 per cent of the total number, with attendees travelling from across Germany, followed by Italy (seven per cent) and Austria (five per cent).
