摘要

The Australian Standard for Concrete Structures, AS3600-2001, is currently under review, with the intention to expand its scope to include concrete with characteristic compressive strengths up to 100 MPa. The current procedures in the Standard for the estimation of the strength and deformation characteristics of concrete must be revised, including the tensile strength, the elastic modulus, the creep coefficient and the shrinkage strain. In this paper, the factors that should be considered in such a review are discussed and models for predicting these instantaneous and time-dependent material characteristics are presented. These models are currently under consideration for inclusion in the next edition of the Standard.
