摘要

Security at school has been an important issue all over the world. For example, typical security program conducted regularly at schools in Japan is an evacuation drill for fire or earthquake evacuation. However, these drills are not necessarily effective for school children with disabilities, particularly with mental retardation (MR), because the programs are designed for normal children. Our goal is to develop an evacuation drill system by using virtual reality (VR) technologies for school children with MR and to verify its effectiveness through trainings.
