The results of measurements of the isotopic atomic ratios~238Pu/~239~Pu, 240~Pu/239~Pu, 241~Pu/239~Pu, 242~Pu/239~Pu in samples of bottom deposits are presented. The role of the main sources of plutonium contamination of the region is examined. It is shown that the contribution of the a activity of industrial plutonium (238-240~Pu) in bottom sediments from the European reprocessing plants, mainly, Sellafield (Great Britain), on the background due to global fallouts is 20 to 55/100 of the total a activity and 70-95/100 for the β activity (241~Pu).
