Scientific and technical communications: mathematical formulation of the subjective judgments of experts on the verification level of models of thermohydraulic processes

In the process of designing and building water-cooled nuclear reactors, the substantiation of their safe operation is focused around basic categories of design, such as sufficiency, reliability, and adequacy and their derivatives-verification and validation. For verification and validation, definitions such as the following are most widely used: verification means check- ing the truth of theoretical assumptions, establishing reliability experimentally, in programming-proof of the correctness of a program; validation-the property of information to be correctly understood, probability of absence of errors or degree of correspondence of the data stored in the database or knowledge base to the real state objects in the subject field which they represent.
