摘要

In summary, the experimental investigations of the thermophysical processes performed for safety validation of new-generation VVER showed that vortex-type mixing lattices increase the critical power of the fuel assemblies with AES-2006 design by 8-10% and the margin to crisis by approximately 20%. The experiments validated the serviceability of the system used for passive flooding of the core from water tanks at the second step and it was confirmed experimentally that the AES-2006 steam generators under the conditions of a beyond design-basis accident have condensation capacity sufficient for maintaining effective heat removal from the reactor.
