摘要

To increase the quality of the fission chambers, now under development it is desirable to perform preliminary calculations of their characteristics. The computational results obtained for the characteristics of the KtV.4 small triaxial fission chamber and a comparison with the experimental data are presented below. The KtV.4 triaxial fission chamber possesses a cylindrical geometry and is based on the KNMS2S triaxial cable. It is equipped with a guard electrode in the cable links and the working volume. The outer diameter of the chamber is 6 mm, the diameter and length of the collecting electrode are 4 and 25 mm, respectively, and the gap between the housing and the collecting electrode is 0.7 mm. The surface of the collecting electrode is coated with a layer of U with 90% enrichment.
