An error occurred in the above article - Section 5.2 of the Experimental Results. In Fig. 4, the average time-weighted power (TWP) for the RB211-535E4B engine (APEX-3 T8&9) should actually be 31% not 62% as is currently presented. Therefore, Fig. 4 now becomes: Based on the corrected figure, the last sentence of the first paragraph of Section 5.2 (right column) should now read: In addition, for a range of TWP of 19-41%, the PM emitted from all engines contained ~40-80% volatile matter on a test-average basis with the CFM56 engines generally emitting proportionally more volatile PM (~ 62-80%) as compared to the others tested.
