Lewis Dartnell, a post-graduate student in the CoMPLEX (Centre for Mathematics and Physics in the Life Sciences and Experimental Biology) department of University College London, has addressed one of the most pressing questions that confronts our nascent science of astrobiology: How do we introduce the general public, the scientific community at large, and students at all levels to the rich multidisciplinary panoply of facts, techniques, and questions that is the domain of working astrobiologists? The author's answer was quite elegant: let a student do it.
