China Mobile, Huawei to transform Chengdu into a '5G City'

China Mobile's business unit in the Sichuan Province has teamed up with Huawei to transform Chengdu into a '5G City', via the deployment of a multi-dimensional 5G network. The solution will involve the construction of a three-layer multi-dimensional network architecture to deliver continuous 5G network coverage throughout the city. The architecture consists of the basic coverage capacity layer, capacity experience layer and an indoor coverage layer.
