The Indonesian Attorney General's Office is investigating allegations that the country's second largest operator by subscribers, PT Indosat, avoided paying 'certain taxes' by passing some of its broadband spectrum to a subsidiary. In the case, the office says that the Indonesian Telecommunication Consumer group (KTI) has accused Indosat of avoiding IDR3.8 trillion (USD$419.9 million) worth of taxes by giving spectrum to its IM2 unit in 2007.
