Engineering theories as a basis for integrating deep engineering knowledge

It is proposed to solve the problem of deep engineering knowledge through the development of multidisciplinary engineering theories (ET). The principles and main features of such theories are described. To develop ET, it is proposed to use the hypothetical-deductive method and knowledge-based systems. The practical significance of ET is estimated.
