Even late in the evening the building that extends between Bloch-Bauer Promenade and the eastern side of Helmut Zilk Park appears inviting. This is certainly thanks to the wooden facade and to details such as the open bookshelves, notice board and integrated bench seat in the end wall on the Promenade, which send a charming message to the neighbourhood. But it is the structure of the relaxed and unpretentious building that encourages dialogue with the surroundings to an even greater extent. Two sunken yards interlock public space and the basement level. Along the open access decks on the north facade, which at regular intervals widen to form areas where people can linger, and on the balconies that project from the south facade the life in this building is manifested externally.
