3. The Everyday

Beyond singular works, architects need to provide spaces for our everyday lives: houses to be sure, but also places to shop and to pray, buildings to meet and to learn, and means of transport to move in the city between all of them. In the end, transport and commerce, like culture and religion, are public dimensions of the everyday: places of gathering distinct from collective or family residences.
