ADA, Building Codes, and Standards Relating to Handrails and Guards

Do you know the graspability requirements for handrails? How about the height and structural requirements for guards? This course will discuss the unique requirements for glass railing, cable railing, and lit railing as well as the differences between handrails and guardrails. It includes information on the International Building Code (IBC), the International Residential Code (IRC), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Americans With Disabilities Act, and their references to handrails, guardrails, and guards.
