In this presentation we look at the wide array of choices available today in the ceramic tile and natural stone industry, and how these options have the potential to further the health, safety, and well-being of a building's occupants. To achieve the full benefits of ceramic tile and natural stone, however, it's necessary to know how to specify products in a thorough manner to meet a project's particular needs. To this end, we'll look at how the diverse choices in the world of ceramic tile and stone, combined with the knowledge of how to budget, set expectations, and collaborate with manufacturers and other stakeholders, can lead to the best possible outcomes for a building and its occupants. Not only can tile fulfill expectations of aesthetics and technical performance, it can also exceed those expectations in terms of occupant satisfaction. Additionally, as the demand for sustainable materials continues to grow, tile is one of the most environmentally-friendly options.
