After successful launches in Courchevel, France, and the Maldives, Cheval Blanc-the hotel arm of the LVMH luxury group-set its sights on the Caribbean island of St. Barts for its third resort and spa. Located on the sublime Baie des Flamands beachfront, the 40-room Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France (formerly the Hotel Saint-Barth Isle de France) features a sun-washed palette with tropical accents. London decorator Bee Osborn reimagined the interiors, outfitting the rooms with comfortable modern furniture, French linens, charming illustrations, and sculptural driftwood. "We took inspiration from the chic ambience of Saint-Tropez in the 1950s," she says, "giving the place a relaxed, understated glamour with luxurious components."
