DIEM: Talks Design, the West Hollywood Design District's annual design symposium, kicked off with a stylish cocktail party at Minotti,hosted by Architectural Digest. The following day of DIEM, six panel discussions, "smart talks in stylish spaces," co-curated by writer Mallery Roberts Morgan and Frances Anderton of KCRW, explored the theme of "Co-Everything"-from co-working, collective design to collaboration. The day began at Poltrana Frau with florist Eric Buterbaugh discussing his eponymous lifestyle brand. Speaker highlights included: Clique Media Group's Michelle Plantan; publicist Lauren Urband; architect Mark Rios; artist Patrick Shearn; and curator Bettina Korek. Architectural Digests West Coast editor Mayer Rus and contributing style editor Michael Reynolds closed the day to a packed house at Design Within Reach.
