The projects presented here deal with surface and space as reciprocal and codependent entities. To that end, we have sidestepped binary planning strategies that result in figure/ground negotiations with poche space on the one hand or the residues characteristic of the free plan on the other. Deviations of the surface coincide and determine specific spatial deformations, and in turn geometric and formal manipulations may occur only in relationship with tectonic systems that are at once consistent, systematic and resolved.
