'LACKING THE LACK': The Museum of the History of the Hellenic World, Athens

Nikos Georgiadis, a principal of Anamorphosis Architects, the practice designing the new Museum of the History of the Hellenic World in Athens (scheduled on site in 2006), describes how the architects developed a strategy that turned history to their advantage. Embracing 'the iack' of significant surviving Hellenic pieces, Anamorphosis resolved to reactivate the physicality of historic forms and design a spatial monument.
