What Does Learning Look Like? When architects do their job and take seriously the role of social servant they must ceaselessly ask questions of the work they have been invited to undertake or have appropriately invented, especially in the case of the design and unnecessary recognition of the building type, such as that of a school. Current primary-school design in the UK is predicated on a year system, a corresponding floor area per child, per class (of 1.49 square metres) and the accumulated government debris of the national curriculum.
