摘要

Barbara E Ascher recently joined the Oslo School of Architecture and Design as a PhD research fellow. Her research focuses on scarcity and creativity in the built environment. She graduated from the Bauhaus University in 2006 where she had studied architecture with a scholarship from the German National Academic Merit Foundation. Previously she researched on shrinking cities in Berlin and has worked as an architect and urban planner in Austria, Egypt and Norway, as well as a guest critic at the University in Stavanger.
