DATA CITY: URBAN METRBDLIC DECISION PROCESSES

Cities are in constant evolution, developing the ability to perceive and process vast amounts of information. This sentience is guided by a series of decision-making processes capable of managing the growth and transformation of the city. These decision processes, proposed here as analytical models, must access immense arrays of data and traverse large solution spaces. This data must be historic and live, morphological and technological, of flows and of material -energy, water, waste, people, goods, air and structures. The processes thus become a working model of the city, as well as every possible manifestation of it - both present and future.
