摘要

Alessandro Beghini works as a structural project engineer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) where he is involved in all aspects of the design process. He is responsible for conducting research in the field of optimal structural topologies and development of innovative methodologies for structural analysis. He maintains collaborations with academic institutions, including the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He serves as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University. He has co-authored several technical publications on a variety of structural engineering topics, including topology optimisation, the behaviour of fibre composites and fibre-reinforced concrete.
