Architects Brady Peters and Xavier De Kestelier have extensive practice-based experience in the use of digital design including parametric modelling and computational techniques, performance-driven design, and the communication and construction of complex geometry. They have collaborated in various capacities since 2003. Through their positions in practice and at academic institutions they promote the use of computation as a design tool and as a way of extending the potentials of the designer. They met while working in the Specialist Modelling Group (SMG), the internal research and development consultancy of internationally renowned architecture practice Foster + Partners. Working on the design of complex building projects from conception to completion, they have demonstrated the use of computation to develop designs and communicate architectural solutions.
