GPS Receiver IC Targets Automotive, Navigation Applications

SiGe Semiconductor has launched its PointCharger~(TM) family of global positioning service (GPS) devices. The first product from the new line is the model SE4100 integrated receiver integrated circuit (IC), which delivers benchmark levels of power consumption and integration to enable smaller, less expensive and longer battery-powered operation of peripheral devices used in automotive, navigation, covert and other applications.
