On the Ⅱnd model of contention-collision elimination access mode in star LAN

摘要

The contention-collision elimination access mode is a new kind of access mode in star LAN. It can be divided into six different models according to its working mechanism. The mathematical analyses for the Ⅰst, Ⅲrd and Ⅴth models have been presented and discussed in previous papers. In this paper, the Ⅱnd model is studied, and results are compared with the Ⅰst one. The results in this paper have important values in design the integrated services local area network.
