One of the secrets of successful sales and operations planning (S&OP) is ensuring the players know their roles and the schedule. The "how" is essentially useless if the "who," "what," and "when" are not established first. This article examines those three key pieces and is a compilation of many years working with companies designing and executing S&OP processes. It is "street smart" thinking.
