This month, I will continue expanding on the blending of current and future supply chain management (SCM) with lean six sigma best practices. During design and planning of the supply chain, there are many intersects of lean six sigma. Lean six sigma offers a variety of tools to help uncover risks and opportunities, one of which is quality function deployment (QFD), also referred to as the "house of quality."
