This book is a collection of previously published papers by the author (in two cases,njointly with another author). There are three sections: the papers in ‘Person’ concernnindividual choices and reasons for them, those in ‘Polis’ concern interactions withnothers and those under ‘Planet’ concern conservation, the environment and nonhumannspecies. I shall comment briefly on most of the papers.
