Norit X-Flow UF Membranes Meet the Challenges of Regulations and Increased Demand

When the water treatment plant in Mankato, Minn., upgraded its system in October 2008, Mankato became one of a few cities in the state to implement ultrafiltration (UF) membrane technology for the production of drinking water. For this project-the first major upgrade at the facility since 1968-the city's technology of choice was Norit X-Flow XIGA™, a pressurized UF system.
