摘要

Earned Value (EV) is a project control technique providing a quantitative measure integrating both schedule and cost information. 'The greatest advantage, in applying the concept of EV to projects, is that the construction manager and site manager can statistically predict Estimated at Completion (EAC) in the early construction stage. To predict EAC, Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Cost Performance Index (CPI), and SPI ~★ CPI is used. However, it is not certain which application is suitable for prediction or when EAC is a reliable value for construction managers or site managers.rnTherefore, this study first speculates which index is most suitable for EAC, and what meaning the EAC has compared to the Actual EAC. The second objective is to show the framework when EAC applies to various types of construction projects (e.g. residential, commercial, industrial etc.)
