West Group, the largest law publisher in the United States, has its markets clearly mapped out. Known for its range of products, the publisher prints everything from bound volumes to pamphlets, to side-stitched and saddlestitched publications and looseleaf pages, while additionally offering CDs and online services. West's 16 web offset presses churn out millions of pages for the legal industry. But, as all industries, the needs of its customers are changing. "More and more of our business is going online," explains Mark Brunswold, director of electronic services at West Group in Eagan, MN. "Print runs are decreasing and we needed a way to address shorter print runs and quicker turnaround times."
