Effects of Early Intervention on Psychiatric Symptoms of Young Adults in Low-Risk and High-Risk Families

摘要

Effects of early risk and intervention on the psychiatric symptoms of young adults were studied. By means of a weighted risk index, 160 families with a baby born in 1975-1976 were classified as being at low or high risk. Half of the families attended a five-year family counseling program, the other half served as a control group.
