Those who think environmentally friendly cars are slow and stodgy just might change their assumptions after getting a look at the one-of-a-kind EcoJet, the product of an unusual collaboration between General Motors and American TV host Jay Leno. The lantern-jawed comic is an admitted "auto-holic," with more than 100 cars and motorcycles in the two airport hangars that pass for his garage. Since early this year, Leno's mechanics have worked side by side with a team of engineers from GM and key suppliers such as the metals company Alcoa.
