Everyone's a winner

What do you call a competition where every entrant is a winner? Answer: Does it really matter what the answer is, because you'd surely be daft not to enter? The MX2007 Manufacturing Excellence Awards are launched this month, and the tagline of "everyone's a winner" is appropriate but not in the usual glib way of such slogans. For the MX Awards, organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, are just the outward-facing part of a large-scale business improvement process that is geared to help companies identify and improve their performance on factors that really affect competitiveness.
