Job-to-Job Flows in the Great Recession

This article serves two purposes. First, it demonstrates how measures of flows across jobs constructed from linked employer-employee data can shed light on employment and wage dynamics and provide new information about the economy. Second, it provides some new evi dence on labor turnover and earnings dynamics in the Great Recession.
