Crystals of β-Ca_2SiO_4 (space group P12_11) were examined by high-temperature powder X-ray diffractometry to deter- mine the change in unit-cell dimensions with temperature up to 645 deg C. The temperature dependence of the principal expansion coefficients (αi) found from the matrix algebra analysis was as follows: α_1=20.492x10~6+16.490x10~9.
