Aleris breaks ground for greenfield rolling mill in China

Aleris International, Inc. has broken ground for the construction of an USD300 million aluminium rolling mill in China's Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, that will produce semi-finished products in a joint venture with Zhenjiang Dingsheng Aluminium Industries Joint-Stock Co., Ltd. Aleris will own an 81 percent equity interest in the venture, named Aleris Dingsheng Aluminium (Zhenjiang) Co., Ltd.
