Artist transforms hospital car park into visual spectacle with light installation

Artist Peter Freeman has created a dramatic lighting scheme called Weave for the car park at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, Somerset. The project was commissioned by car-park operator Q-Park as part of the hospital's Arts for Life programme.rnEncapSulite's MT70 IP67 waterproof fittings were selected for the project for their all-round visibility. The fittings have 'fade-free, deep-dyed polycarbonate coloured sleeves, also selected from the EncapSulite colour range.rnA total of 100 units was used to light the staircase and floors of the car park, combining Leaf Green, Ice Blue, Sky Blue, Lilac and Light Red coloured sleeves.
