Sky Regional to Operate Air Canada E175s

On October 1 Air Canada released details of its fleet plan, with a focus on international growth for mainline operations and its planned new low-cost leisure carrier. As part of the reorganisation, Air Canada will transfer its fleet of 15 Embraer 175s, the smallest airliners it operates, to Sky Regional Airlines, a division of Skyservice Airlines. They will be transferred between February and June 2013 and flown under the Air Canada Express brand. Sky Regional will operate the aircraft on behalf of Air Canada under a capacity purchase agreement between the parties.
