FAM Increases Flight Hours

The Fuerza Aerea Mexicana (FAM, Mexican Air Force) has achieved a level of 6.5 training hours per pilot per month so far in 2012. This represents a three-fold increase over the two flight hours achieved six years ago and exceeds the target of six hours. The FAM flew over 57,000 hours with 258 aircraft and 139 helicopters over the course of 2011.
