What a great day to go flying! Blue skies, scattered clouds and light winds forecast with unlimited visibility. This is definitely not a typical Lancashire day, but definitely one to be enjoyed, as I walk towards ZK011, the second development Hawk Mk 128 for the Royal Air Force. I am about to take part in flight trials of the Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), which will be standard fit in the AJT when it enters service next year.
